The whole world saw Hamas perpetrate the mass murder of over 1,400 people in the cruelest and most unimaginably brutal ways, as well as other atrocities, including, among others, beheadings, torture, rape, and abduction, deliberately targeting residents of towns and villages in the southern part of Israel. These acts constitute war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide according to international criminal law.

Evidence clearly shows that Hamas places its military infrastructure and its arsenal of ammunition and weapons in the heart of its civilian population, including in homes, schools, mosques, and businesses, and uses them as a base for its terrorist activities.
